Thiesen ACL 4 Anti Collision Light with FLARM interface

ACL4 - for fuselage or vertical stabilizer installation

Thiesen technology advances – and so we developed the new ACL4 for you. With LEDs of the newest generation, we were able to boost the brightness by about 50%. Simultaneously we reduced the power consumption remarkably. This makes an overall efficiency enhancement of about 100%!

As with all our LED position lights,  ACLs are water and seawater resistent. Since the electronic parts are completely integrated in the ACL4.

Like all our other ACLs, the ACL4 is completely sealed in high-grade optical plastic. As all electronic components are integrated in the ACL4 itself,  no additional location for other components is needed.

The extremely bright, red sequencing light flash has a beacon angle of 360° and is visible at 30° below and above the horizontal plane.  

For easy connection, the ACL is provided with a 1,5/0,25 mm² four-wire-cable. It can be installed on the fuselage or vertical stabilizer using its flange footing and some additional silicone.

FLARM-Interface

As the world's first, Thiesen integrated a FLARM-Interface in an anti-collision light for powered aircraft in order to increase visibility and safety. If a Power-FLARM unit (not supplied) is connected, the Power-FLARM signal will increase the rate of light pulses and therefore make the aircraft more visible.

Intelligent Synchronization

The integration of our well-proven Intelligent Synchronization enables several lights (if fitted) to be sequenced thus stabilising power consumption for the connected anti-collision lights and preventing battery and generator overload.
